Andy Goldfarb, Founder & CEO

Photos are Andy’s passion, and he has personally tagged and organized over 70,000 photos for family and friends. Andy served on the board of directors at Quattro Wireless (acquired by Apple), m-Qube (acquired by Verisign) and eDocs (acquired by Siebel), where he first met many of the Photo Butler leadership team. He is also the co-founder of Breaking Matzo – an online resource that helps create lasting memories around Jewish Home Holidays – and co-founder and executive managing director of Globespan Capital Partners. Andy has been recognized on the Forbes Midas List as one of the top venture capitalists in the world. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School. Andy cherishes time with his two daughters, and is an avid collector of Garden Gnomes.

David Benaim, Co-Founder & CTO

With more than 25 years of experience in technology innovation, he architects products, processes and go-to-market strategies for growth. Prior to Photo Butler, David worked with companies of all sizes in the U.S., South America and Israel, including AnySoft and m-Qube (acquired by VeriSign), where he met Andy. During his time at m-Qube and Verisign David and his team were responsible for developing and supporting interactive messaging applications for “American Idol,” “Dancing with the Stars” and others. He earned a B.A. in Computer Science from the PEC Institute of Technology – Venezuela. In his free time, David hones his skills as an aerial drone photographer. He loves to share photos from every elevation

Eswar Priyadarshan, Chief Strategy Officer

Eswar is the Chief Strategy Officer for the Photo Butler team. An experienced entrepreneur, product designer and technologist, he is Chief Bot at BotCentral Inc., a company focused on using AI to improve the customer experience, particularly for customer service. Additionally, he’s a Board Member at Possible Health, a not-for-profit intent on bringing high-quality, low-cost healthcare to the world’s poor. Previously, Eswar was senior director at Apple, where he experienced the highs and lows of working directly with Steve Jobs on launching a new Apple product. Prior to Apple, he co-founded both Quattro Wireless (acquired by Apple) and m-Qube (acquired by Verisign), both Globespan portfolio companies where Andy served on the board. It was at these companies where Eswar first worked with many members of the Photo Butler team. He is passionate about design, machine learning and natural language applications, and earned a B.A./M.A. in Computer Science from Boston University. Eswar enjoys reading history and is very proud of the lives his children are carving out for themselves. This is the second time David and Eswar have worked together and the third time Eswar and Gerald have worked together.

Gerald Hewes, Head of Data Science

Gerald Hewes leads the Data Science team at Photo Butler. An experienced technologist of more than 20 years and avid photographer, Gerald is passionate about applying breakthrough artificial intelligence (AI) approaches to curate, organize and understand content in images. He is a two-time founder and has held leadership positions at Quattro Wireless (acquired by Apple), m-Qube (acquired by Verisign), SessionM and others. Gerald received ​his ​Masters in Computer Sciences from Télécom ParisTech and holds multiple patents.​ This is the second time David and Gerald have worked together.

Igor Moochnick, Head of Engineering

Igor Moochnick leads Engineering and DevOps teams at Photo Butler. Experienced engineering leader and architect with over 25 years of software architecture, systems design, infrastructure, and innovation experience. Technology evangelist with passion for building collaborative style software engineering teams. Public speaker and trainer. Experienced working on large companies such as Intel, Symantec, Thomson Reuters as well as startup companies such as ICQ (Acquired by AOL), AnysSoft and IMLogic, in the US and Israel. At IMLogic he invented the Real-Time Threat Protection technology that prompted acquisition by Symantec. This is the third time Igor and David have worked together.

Jim Moran, Advisor

Jim is an advisor to the Photo Butler team and brings more than 20 years of experience scaling technology companies. He is executive chairman at Perfecto, working with the board and executive team to help extend Perfecto’s market leadership and navigate its strategic growth options. He is an angel investor and/or board member in Desktop Metal, Canary, Paydiant (sold to PayPal) and over a dozen other companies. Jim has executive experience in several Globespan portfolio companies where Andy served on the board of directors: Co-founder and Executive Vice President of eDocs (acquired by Siebel), CEO of Covergence Networks (sold to Acme Packet, NASDAQ;APKT), and COO of Virtusa (NASDAQ;VRTU). Jim was also managing director at North Bridge Growth Equity and Venture Partners, investing in early-stage and growth equity companies. Jim earned a B.A. in Communications from Northeastern University.
